Tivo with M+ TV Package ???
 

Hi guys,

Thinking of getting a tivo box but is it worth having it with M+ package ?
Phoned to see what offers there is for existing customers & after being put on to cancellations the offers are as follows :

500gb tivo M+ FREE for 12 months then £5 increase
500gb tivo L £7.50 for 12 months then £12.50 (£5.00 increase)
1tb tivo XL £15.50 for 12 months then £20.50 (£5.00 increase)

Only have M tv at the moment. Price's are on top of what I already pay.

My main question is would tivo with the M+ even be worth having ?
What would I gain from just having a Tivo box ?

Depends on what you have now and what you like to watch (I assume you know what channels are on each package - if not http://store.virginmedia.com/digital...els/index.html)

TiVo gives:
HD television (channels depend on package).
Ability to record programmes (record two, watch 1 live / record 3, watch a recorded show).
Ability to create Wishlist (record shows based on your preferences actor etc).
Makes "suggestions" based on which shows you like (e.g. you like BGT, would suggest XFactor / The Voice etc).
