Daybreak AXED

On the basis of the article below why don't they just bring back gmtv than a gmtv style show

On the very odd occasions I've ever seen this dross, it appears to me to be very little different from what it was supposed to have replaced. Same old, same old...

Don't suppose the 'new' format will be any better or much different though and if the vacuously annoying Lorraine Kelly has anything to do with it it'll be the TV equivalent of muzak and just about as informative.

These kind of things need a lot of time to bed in. Audiences don't get compelled to watch, instead it becomes part of the routine. Would take quite a few years before that happens.

Bring back the Big Breakfast. At least that was entertaining, and waking up to Kelly Brooke even though she was useless it didn't matter too much.

GMTV / DayBreak is dull, tiresome and too repetitive / boring, too middle classed, and too celeb orientated and it has Lorraine Kelly in it and for far too long. It has to change format to survive, going back to GMTV with the same/reinstated presenters will just be the same old....

I much preferred GMTV. I don't want to see more of Lorraine Kelly though. They should bring back Penny Smith! :D

Aren't they already planning to bring it back, in time for the Olympics?
