no problems here, got the £7 deal in er indoors Iphone 4 and the £10 deal in my iPhone 4S. Just used a sim cutter to convert the standard sim to microsim.

very easy mate, get yourself a sim cutter rather trying to to do a "Blue Peter" job.
This is the one I used http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...ls_o03_s00_i00

Thanks for posting this thread. I was wondering what to do - I've just got an iPhone and I'm on the Three network now but was wondering if I could get a microSIM off Virgin, but they don't offer them currently.

Unfortunately I can't use a SIM cutter as my SIM is an old design with the metallic area taking up more room, so I think I'll have to wait for Virgin to release their own microSIM (June apparently, but for Pay Monthly only and I'm PAYG) and stay with Three for now.

But you will have to get a new sim anyway to move to virgin?

So that one would have the right dimensions to be cut up?

No, I think you misunderstood. Before I got the iPhone I was on Virgin. My Virgin SIM can't be cut because of the reason I stated above, so I'm on Three now.
