Major outage LE3
Thought my internet was slow this morning, but realised my Draytek dual wan router was routing all my traffic across my ADSL line. After a quick check seems virgin broadband has completely vanished around here, the modem cant see anything! It's like its not connected to the cable at all....
Had a look on the service status page and a fault F001973632 is in place. Just wondering how widespread this is? |
Re: Major outage LE3
its not affecting me.
is it on 151? if it is then its major. |
Re: Major outage LE3
I'm in LE3. I woke up this morning to find the SH and Tivo failing with network errors.
Came back this evening and everything seemed to be back, I logged into the SH to check the logs and notice I've now gone from 4 to 5 downstream channels. It was back up at 7:30ish this AM though. |
Re: Major outage LE3
Strange time to be doing reseg work. That usually happens around 2-6am.

I'm in LE3 and have had 5 down streams since December if I recall right ;)

Re: Major outage LE3
ok checked with neighbour. He been busy so hasnt tested in mornings etc. but today he is hitting 45mbit down and 9mbit up. Thats on vmspeed.com not speedtest.net. 5 downstreams. I am getting my full 30mbit on vmspeed.com.
Also to add he keeps reporting the low speeds, I gave him ceo contact details to use for next week now as clearly this extra DS channel isnt adequate. |
Re: Major outage LE3
Not sure if this is affecting you but I have a fault ref F001897421 for very low speeds during peak times and is estimated to be fixed at the end of the month
|
Re: Major outage LE3
I got a fault ticket as well although my guess is they probably closed it when they did this work.
