Mobile offer - Can't quite work out if I'm thick or Virgin are trying it on
 

Morning all,

Had a flyer off VM offering a free phone etc and stating that they have taken £8 off the monthly bill. One of the phones they have offered is a Samsung Galaxy W.

For £12.99 you get 3000 mins to Virgin mobiles, 100 mins, 500 txts & 500mb web,

Now on the VM site an existing customer can get the above deal for £15.99 (so not excatly the £8 off they are stating). If it was truely £8.00 off then the original cost should be £20.99 and should get 3000mins, 1100 mins + 500 txts & 500mb.

Am I correct in my thinking?

I think the answer is look at the new customer site NOT existing I am almost sure there are deals posted if you have other Virgin services.

The flyer was personally addressed to me as an existing customer

I understand. Still how does it stack up against the not a customer price?
