Tesco Mobile > Virgin Mobile - better or worse?

Hi All

I have Virgin Telephpne and 50mb BB. Looking at ditching Sky HD and getting some tivos - especially as I save £30 a month on equivalent packages.

Now, in the household we have tesco mobile contracts, all pay monthly. I am looking at swapping them for the Virgin Mobile deal of

£10.99

200 mins

5000 text

1GB internet

Plus x minutes from virgin landlines to virgin mobile and the free Spotify for 6 months (will please my daughter)

BUT has anyone moved from Tesco virgin and been worse off, eg signal strength (now the new sims flip between t-mobile and orange towers) and is internet speeds worse or less than Tesco mobile.

Any advice appeciated.

Impossible to say, signal varies depending where you are

I can't speak for tesco, but I was on o2 before moving to Virgin, and that's the network tesco use. I have been very pleasantly surprised, and I'll be honest, I was nervous about it, because I found o2 to be excellent and I was a one2one customer years ago, and they were terrible. I haven't found any noticeable lack of phone signal, and the 3g connection is lightening on my Samsung gs2, even in doors, which I had been led to believe was a particular strong point of the o2 network. I left for financial reasons, I don't regret it.
