New D-Link 615 - delay when opening webpages

Got this up and running the other day and all is fine. But came to use my desktop for the first time today using a wired connection - as opposed to the wireless I've been using up until now in my laptop, and found webpages take a while to respond.

Everything else works fine. I tried newsgroups, emails, updating programs...and all work just as they should. But there is this odd delay of a few seconds before webpages start to load.

I've also noticed something else odd - and I'm sure it wasn't like this before this router. But only the main part of the name in the URL shows up as normal. The http and .com parts, plus any symbols, all show up as greyed out.

For example, www.facebook.com would be greyed out apart from the facebook part.

I'm using windows XP and Firefox. I'm positive I would have noticed this before. On my laptop its fine and everything looks normal.

Any reason for the delay when loading webpages, and is the greyed out URL connected in any way? Thanks.

It's settable in the config as "browser.urlbar.formatting"

Are you on FF beta? just that the updates have been rolling in thick and fast.. It's just updated me to FF10b4.. Perhaps the config change is because of that..

As for the delay what's your DNS set to? Is the delay for all webpages or the first time you go to them?
