Internet tv: which cat cable to use?

Hi there,
I've just bought a Sony KDL32CX523 smart tv that I am planning to hard-wire it to my Netgear ADSL DG834G router.
I was under the impression that a cat5, or better still 6, would do the job. However, upon reading the tv's user manuals I came across this very short footnote that 'For LAN connections, use a cat 7 cable.'
That's the only reference to cat cables.
Having worked in an IT department in a previous life, I thought cat 7 are very 'new.'
Am I just fine to buy cat 5 cables or am I fretting over this?
Thank you for your help and advice in advance.

Yeah anything will do, I assume that is a typo in the manual.
