How to get back to realtime?

If I pause a programme for a few minutes, or half an hour, how would I then easily get back to realtime on that channel?
pressing "TV" does nothing, pressing home and then TV keeps you behind time, I just needed to do it and ended up having to change the channel and then change back. With Sky I just used to press the "SKY" button.

that's what it says for the manual for TiVo but it doesn't work, tried a few times on different channels

Try pressing the 'stop' button twice in quick succession, that usually works for me. Not sure what the official way is as took me a bit of trial and error.

Press and hold the "->|" button (the one between the fast forward and the blue button).
