100 Mbs In Poole
 

I`ve been waiting for months now to upgrade to 100mbs in Poole, Dorset.
(on 50mbs now)
I`ve checked the latest roll out dates from 3/11/11 that is the latest version.
I have also phoned VM, but they don`t know when it will be available.
So, does anyone know when 100mbs will be ready for poole area..please!!!
I`m getting 2 Tivio`s installed on 13th Jan..was hoping to get the upgrade sorted the same time.

btw...It feels like when I`ll get 100mbs installed, you lot will be on 300mbs..:shocking:

The people who know when Poole is to be upgraded aren't allowed to tell you.

However, since Poole is still 'being planned' I would guess there has been some network upgrading being done, network cards for example.

Have you had the upload speed upgrade to 5Mb? Some say that if you have the 5MB upgrade then your local network is virtually 100Mb capable.

The website service checker now shows as available for my postcode (which is also in Poole)

Have just called up Sales and they have ordered for install on 18th Jan

Suggest have give them a call as it now appears live !

Had mine installed yesterday

Out of interest what speed are you getting

I've used speedtest.net

Before upgrade was getting 49MB

After only getting 60-62mb

Interested in what you get also being in Poole.

What modem/router are u useing? or r u useing the Superhub?
Iv had speed problems, with my upgrade, but iv pinned it down to a Router problem.
And now waiting for a superhub to come.

Well....they installed my shub yesterday 3pm and the install guy said poole 100mb service will be activated on 19th jan.

The thing is, my shub is borked:mad: and can`t get nothing (on lappy now).

The engineer installed the shub and couldn`t get online, but left anyways saying, It will take a while for the shub to come online, then he left.:shocked::shocked:

So I left the hub on overnight but it never came online, today had to phone in and they tested the signal down the line, and nothing worked, so they said they would sent out a engineer to change for another shub for Saturday...so i`m not a happy bunny at this moment.
