Portsmouth Speed Running At Less than 1mb
 

Hello All

has anyone else been having problems in the portsmouh area with there internet running slow?
When i mean slow under 2mb not even 1mb at peek times
I have had this problem for over 3 weeks now logged a fault and was told i and a load of other people 800ish have been moved to another line which is running at 200 %
i keep phoning up and getting told they are working on it and cant give me a fix time
Just wondering if anyone else have same problem.
getting very tireing now !!

I am in Bursledon, Eastleigh. My area is part of the Portsmouth cable network (switch PT2) and I am having no such issues. Hope that info is useful to you.

Is that meant to imply your CMTS/uBR or something else? Even if you and the OP are on same (pmth02) chassis, you could well be on different linecards,cable and upstream ports. Unless you know the specifics the comparison may well be invalid. :(
