Superhub results in printer not working
 

hello,I am new to this.
I have up graded to a new super hub.
Unfortunatly I cannot get my printer to work with my wireless laptop.
My cable comes into the house on the ground floor,my superhub is connected here,there is a ethernet cable that goes upstairs,this goes into my pc,my printer (canon pixma mp640)is connected to the pc via usb.
When using the laptop in other locations,I cannot get any printing done because( the printer is not working).
When I had a moden plus router I did not have a problem.
Also I keep losing my internet connection for short periods of time.
Can anybody help a non techie what to do, will be very gratefull,thank you,

switch it modem mode and reinstall your router.
