Scandinavian countries seem to be very well managed. Norway, Finland, to a lesser extent Sweden. Everything I hear about them is impressive, they have a 100% literacy rate (or they don't but also can't count), Finland was named least corrupt country last week by Transparency International, Norway faced a mass-killing gunman and refused to turn on each other or introduce knee-jerk laws.
