Music on Demand tickle

Just got an email saying that I have this all of December for free (I'm on L TV).

Is this a general thing, it would be very odd if only certain customers were given it (I didn't have to claim like I did with my 08 tickle)?

Music On Demand is FREE for the whole of December for all customers below XL TV (XL already get it)

:xmas:

Nice work chaps, thanks for the tip. I'm on M+ so with this offer in place it gives me something else to trial. :)

The satisfaction they could turn to the other 70% of VM customers and say "my package is bigger than yours!". :D

Music On Demand is great, actually. Not the widest selection, but something for everyone to enjoy, and the quality is better than YouTube almost all the time.

M, M+ and L customers are getting a taste of Music On Demand, designed to tempt them to upgrade later on. the more XL customers, the better the package can be as VM can fund more channels and services ;)

I have
  • XL TV
  • XL Phone
  • XXL Broadband (50Mb)

And the tickle they offered me was a free for life "Talk 08 2" which was 250 minutes worth of inclusive calls every month to 0870 and 0845.

I've had this too. Is this offer on your landline and virgin mobile?

I had the same on my land line. Obviously the least taken up extra, but I've had cause to use it over the last couple of days which I've mostly spent on hold to another company's call centre, so I'm not complaining!

I had the 08 tickle but haven't claimed it.
Using saynoto0870.com instead makes me feel as if I'm sticking it to da man :)

Do you get all 0870 numbers on there? Why not have both if it's free? :)

Re: Music on Demand tickle

It hasn't failed me yet, but I don't make too many 08 calls anyway.
If I took the tickle (there's a phrase I never thought I'd type) then I, through VM, would be condoning the scourge that is the 08 rip-off. Using the sayno... site means the company I'm calling don't make anything out of me (I think) especially if there's a freephone alternative.
It probably doesn't work like that but just let me have my dillusion that I'm screwing them for a change instead of the other way 'round. ;)
