Changing ubr's? fixing packet loss
Hello, During peak time's i've noticed, my connection is deteriorating more and more. Ok not too the point of some fellow VM'ers on here, but it's getting "that" frustrating that i wan't to start asking question's. During peak i can get anywhere from 1-10% packet loss, being an avid gamer this is unacceptable.
My stats are near perfect afaik ked QAM256 31 55616000 Kbits/sec 315000000 Hz 1.3 dBmV 40.4 dB Hybrid Locked QAM256 29 55616000 Kbits/sec 299000000 Hz 1.9 dBmV 41.4 dB Hybrid Locked QAM256 30 55616000 Kbits/sec 307000000 Hz 1.5 dBmV 40.9 dB Hybrid Locked QAM256 32 55616000 Kbits/sec 323000000 Hz 0.9 dBmV 40.5 dB Hybrid Unlocked Unknown 0 0 Ksym/sec 0 Hz 0.0 dBmV 0.0 dB Unknown Unlocked Unknown 0 0 Ksym/sec 0 Hz 0.0 dBmV 0.0 dB Unknown Unlocked Unknown 0 0 Ksym/sec 0 Hz 0.0 dBmV 0.0 dB Unknown Unlocked Unknown 0 0 Ksym/sec 0 Hz 0.0 dBmV 0.0 dB Unknown Upstream Channels Lock Status Modulation Channel ID Max Raw Bit Rate Frequency Power Locked ATDMA 8 20480 Kbits/sec 35800000 Hz 41.5 dBmV Doing some digging looking at CMTS, i've noticed this; http://ukinternetreport.co.uk/cmts/gors.png I am on gors2, notice the ping spikes? And look at gors 1 it's nearly perfect. IS there anyway I can get on gors1? Cheers |
Re: Changing ubr's? fixing packet loss
Easy answer is no each area (node) ie is on ubr 10 card 3 upstream 3 .You could move to another ubr but with every one else unless a reseg is planned :)
