Looks like vm are now throttling port 443 ssl.

and also port 1818, 8080. non ssl.

only port 23 left now that runs at full speed!!!

astraweb btw

can anyone else confirm???

Getting full speed on 100 meg with Giganews port 443

Think there playing around with the traffic management again noticed this last night, but thought that it might be an issue with astraweb, as i seem to get them from time to time..

If its throttled it should stop at 11 or 12 should it not, If it goes back to full speed your being throttled ?

Its all over the place, now speeds yoyoing maxes out one minute then flatlines the next.

Noticed this last night as well..

Think they are trialing this adaptive throttling thats been dissussed???

Don't know anything about that, But my speed has been rock solid all weekend when i have needed to use the newsgroups.

Seems to have sorted itself out now, Starting to have my doubts about astraweb though, do you recommend any other providers, apart from giganews??

Sorry dont know as i have always used giganews.
