 Cannot believe anyone in their right mind could allow this to come out into the public domain all that carp about renewing the covenant between the country and it's armed forces really coming through isn't it.

Yes if it happens its not good at all and goes against the covernant  however, We had a case yesterday of selective quoting and i think the best is to quote the response here.

Quote:

The document is thought to have been authored by a junior officer.

Quote:

Head of army planning Brig Richard Nugee said: "There is absolutely no plan to change our treatment of service personnel who are wounded, injured or sick.

"We have been clear throughout the redundancy and have made clear in the House of Commons that 'every case of wounded, injured or sick will be assessed individually. No-one will leave the armed forces through redundancy or otherwise until they have reached a point in their recovery where leaving the armed forces is the right decision, however long it takes'."
Had to do this before Arthur comes along and rants without any links to info on his rant

Yes lets hope that is the case because if it turns out not to be the case then it is utterly a disgraceful way to treat wounded, injured or sick soldiers.
