iPad and iBook question - help!

I use iBooks now that Stanza isn't supported on iOS5.
I have a small problem on returning to read my current book.
If I pop out to the iBook library, how do I get back to reading my book without having to search through the books for it?
As far as I know it has nothing to do with bookmarks.
There is a button for Library in the top left corner while I'm reading, but when I'm in the library there is no button to return to my book.

In iBooks your library is shown as a bookcase with all the books you have shown on it. You just click the cover of the book you want to read and it will return to the last page you were reading.

Thank you Stepen, that's what I do.
But I have 100's of books and I'd rather just be able to hit a button instead of scrolling through everything :-)

I use ibooks, stanza, and also use kindle, and I know the best way round all of them is not to install too many books (I mean what's the point really). I'd rather just keep a few books installed then replace as and when I need. To find what you want, is really easy. Just keep it simple. :)

I don't think there is anything automatic to help with this.

What I do is put the book(s) I am currently reading as the first books in the shelves (I have around 100 books on my iPad).

You can make a new collection, then put the book you're reading into that. Can't lose it that way.

What you can do is pull down on the screen and it will bring up a search box at the top of the boox list. Simply type in the name of the book and it will find it for you :)

I read about 3 books a week and can't always remember what I'm reading ;-)
I'm too fussy aren't I ....

If you can believe a random Facebook poster, Amazon (who own Lexcycle, the developers of Stanza) are saying that Stanza will be updated to fix the iOS 5 problem in a few weeks. Beyond that, it will no longer be updated or supported.

There are, however, a few suggestions for alternatives in that facebook group.

What's the point though of saying that Stanza will be updated, but no longer supported. Once there is a new iOS it will be useless again.
Although if it is updated, I will use it until I can no more.

Not necessarily. It stayed working from iOS3 to iOS4.
