EPG 'backwards' function not working?

Hi - had my 1TB Tivo installed this morning. All working well, but when I attempt to go back a day on the EPG, the guide isn't there. For every channel, it just lists the first single programme that started after midnight last night, and nothing else in the timeline. Go back another day and the same programmes are there. Any ideas?

Wait 24hrs for the EPG to populate.

or

Have you tried forcing 2 EPG downloads back to back ?

Go to Home -> Help & Settings -> Settings -> Network -> Connect to the Virgin Media Service now

Thanks for that - I'll give it a day or two. Not a huge issue if it isn't there as everything is searchable via VOD, it's obviously just one of the Tivo selling points and I'd prefere to have the option! Ta.

I could be wrong here and someone will no doubt correct me , but can't you only go back to when you were installed.

That's what I thought as well, You can only go back 7 days once you've had it 7 days

I've got to admit that's a real neat feature , if you go back say three days and decide to watch something does it play straight from the epg listing ? What about BBC stuff do you have to still use the iplayer app ?

If it's working correct yes it should take you straight to the VoD programme

And not sure about the iPlayer app. On the non-pilot firmware it takes you to VoD, not sure about on the 15.2 firmware

Sounds good , I know it's a feature my parents are particularly keen to use , it beats trawling lists.

The main change with the guide seems to be past events. The channel names now appear on the RHS when in the past. The good news is that the catch up links now work properly - I've tried both BBC and ITV programs and they click right through to the correct show (not in their apps, within the TiVo framework, though they stream from their relevent players when played of course). The response time within the on-demand shows themselves is still very slow. You can press the index right button to jump 5 minutes at at time.

With BBC programmes 15.2 take you to Catch UP TV On Demand and it uses iPlayer to play the programme.

It may take some time to populate after initial install

But the ability to "go back" on the EPG is one of the most outstanding features of TiVo IMO

I have used it more than I though I would since install :)
