Connecting to your Tv though Home Network

I seen that the samsung set top box SMT-H3262 has a LAN connection on the back of it so I used a Ethernet Cable to connect it to my router now I see a device listed in my network as TWC-00:21:BE:93:DD:F3 for the box

I was wonder how I could use this to connect the Samsung Set Top Box to my computer so I could use it to watch tv on my PC?

I don't believe its possible. The only way you could watch freeview on your tv is either buying one of these if you dont have a internet connection http://www.amazon.co.uk/August-DVB-T.../dp/B000IM5VOA or signing up to http://www.tvcatchup.com/ if you do have a internet connection where you want to watch tv.

You could use a US equivalent of the product King linked to, basically anything from http://hauppauge.com/site/products/prods.html would work.

The HDHomerun is another great product that you could use.
