I did report this in the motoGP thread about the crash but Marco Simoncelli has since died whilst taking part in the Malaysian MotoGP

Very sad to hear of another Motorsport death just a week after the death of Dan Wheldon.

Such sad news.
Thoughts and condolences to his loved ones, his co-competitors especially Edwards and Rossi, and Brit Crutchlow, and Marco's teammates.

Apparently all 3 race group competitors will be out on the track before tomorrow's Moto GP start. I figure that's about 35-40 racers.
Simoncelli's dad has suggested not a minute's silence but a minute's NOISE.
