Does super hub replace modem and router?

Title says it all, I am thinking of upgrading to the 30 mb deal, will I automatically get a super hub? Does it replace both devices? Or just the router?

I am currently using a ambit 256 and the dir615.

It can replace both devices or you can use the Superhub in mode mode and continue using your D Link DIR615, you cannot use the Ambit 256 on 30Mb.

hi vm will not allow your own modem, only a vm supplied modem
also you can use your own router. Modem mode in R29 works well enough (for me at least) that I doubt you'd need a stand-alone modem. Just buy a decent router.

To explain a little bit better.

Yes it does replace both a modem and router.

The Superhub is a two in one device.

Similar to the Router's Sky give out with their ADSL products.

The Coax runs all the way into the superhub then you have ethernet ports on the back and Wireless capability.
