Re: a problem with router

That router model isn't showing on any search.

I can see that you aren't based in the UK so the issues may also relate to your local ISP's service, or the connection settings you have entered into the router such as MTU. Check with your ISP if there are any specific settings you should be using rather than the default auto.

Is the speed drop when using wired or wireless connectivity? If it is wireless are you getting a good signal and if so try changing the default channel in case of interference.

hey thenry, what do you mean by: are you with vm?

hey rob, i'm not from uk. i talk with my isp, they told me that the problem isn't belong to them because if i use my modem connect to my computer directly the speed is ok, but what i enter the router to the cyrcle the speed is getting low, what mean that the problem is in the setting between the router to the modem, no?

the setting i entered with my isp is to let me surf, without that i couldn't use the internet..

Re: a problem with router

VM = Virgin Media. This forum is primarily used by Virgin Media customers in the UK so most of the assistance we can offer is for their services.

Can you confirm the model of your router please. The number given in your first post doesn't google.

Your modem and internet service, is it cable, ADSL, or something else? Who is your ISP?

Your router, is it connected to the modem via USB, ethernet, or in some other way? What settings have you input to the router? How is your computer connected to the router, and what connection speed is the computer to router adapter showing in Mbps, as opposed to the speed you are actually seeing when you use the internet?
