V+ HD box and moving house

Right guys i have moved house to my parents house where they dont have virgin, but i have taken the box with me with the intention of being able to watch the recorded stuff on the box (then hopefully finding a house with virgin)...

but my problem is i fire the box up and it wants to search for channels that it cant find cos the cable isn't plugged in and so it hangs at " LD:20" and not letting me to the menu's to watch my stuff can anyone help me get round the retuning process.

regards

Chris

The box has to be connected to the Virgin network and a valid subscription in place for it to work. Technically the box is VMs property and available for them to collect once you have cancelled your subscription (not that the always collect them)
