Tivo no longer sending picture on hdmi
Sorry if ive duplicated this question....
Ive had my Tivo installed less than a week, I have two boxes installed. Today I switched them both on and the TV states that it doesnt support the resolution. I rang support who logged into the boxes and stated that the box is set to run on scart only............strange as theyve both been working fine on hdmi all week. They suggested wiring up a scart lead so i can at least get them on screen. Heres the problem, there is no option to change the settings back to hdmi. Is this a known fault? secondly, why would it crop up on both boxes at the same time? Does anyone have any ideas? |
Re: Tivo no longer sending picture on hdmi
The HDMI is active at all times. The settings just control the resolutions that it can output. I suggest trying different settings until your TV is happy.
Do you have both TiVos on the same TV, or have they both gone wrong independently? Is there any possibility teh TV settings have been changed? |
Re: Tivo no longer sending picture on hdmi
thanks, will give it a go.
It just seems strange that its been working fine all week, ive not changed any settings and now both just give up. Both boxes are in seperate rooms working independantly. the other box has suddenly started working. will have a play with the settings and see what happens. ---------- Post added at 19:13 ---------- Previous post was at 19:04 ---------- no joy.... ive gone through all the resolution settings. ive even factory reset the box and nothing. looks like i will have to run it from the scart until the nice man from virgin comes to sort it on saturday. |
Re: Tivo no longer sending picture on hdmi
Just leave it as I had a similar problem where the TiVo box would not work through the Hdmi. I left it and after a while it did start working again (the next software update)
