no internet connection
 

My computer won't connect to the internet at home. I talked to the internet provider and they said it was my computer so I brought it to best buy and it connected to the internet with no problems. I borrowed my brother laptop and it connected to the internet. The lights on the Ethernet connection on my pc blink randomly. I brought it to a computer store and it connected to the internet and the Ethernet light stayed on. I've installed and reinstated the driver and restored it from a week previous but nothing worked. When I try to look at my up address it says media disconnected. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you connecting through a cable modem? If you are, turn it off for 30 secs, turn it back on again and then connect your PC and boot it up.

You could also try reinstalling your network card driver.
