Sky Sports

Does anyone know what Sky sports channel the grand prix will be on next year when half of the races move. We have just upgraded to XL tv but not the sports so will have to add this on but sky sports 1 & 2 are cheaper than adding 3 & 4.

Sky Sports Collection
Includes Sky Sports 1, Sky Sports 2, Sky Sports 3 and Sky Sports 4
With TV size: M+, L or XL:
£22.50 a month

With TV size: M:
£28.00 a month

cheaper that adding sky sports 1 + 2 by them selfs

http://shop.virginmedia.com/digital-...ky-sports.html

Sky Sports 1
Sky Sports 1 only
With TV size: M+, L or XL:
£14.50 a month

With TV size: M:
£25.00 a month

Sky Sports 2
Sky Sports 2 only
With TV size: M+, L or XL:
£14.50 a month

With TV size: M:
£25.00 a month

so might as well take sky sport collection cheapest option out of all them

Re: Sky Sports

Sky Sports 4 most likely, they wouldn't move their football or cricket coverage on 1 or 2, Golf and Tennis is usually on 3 and 4 often shows motorsport.

I bet they will put it on 3 or 4 as they are fully aware that VM can't carry these channels in HD

Agreed that was my point, football tends to take priority on Sky anyway , I had a conversation with a Sky CS guy on a courtesy call when I joined who believed Sky could possibly add another HD sports channel.

Does it matter?..you don't take sky sports for a year..so you can always swap closer to the time if you have the wrong one

Or am I missing something? :D

I think you will find it will have the widest access on ALL platforms, there are NO sky exclusives with this deal. I would also bet ( personal opinion mind ) that it will be available on SP1 or SP2. Coverage will be in HD.

There will be I'm sure clashes be clashes with other sports I.E. football when maybe F1 will be SP3 or 4. We will have to wait and see.

The alternative would be that VM get SPHD3 & 4, as much I would love that, I can't see that happening anytime soon.

Don't really see why if its on 3 or 4 VM would have to be given the HD versions?
