Re: Non VM Supplied Kit
I don't know what that is. Simply put if it is something you have acquired yourself to connect to the VM network instead of their modem or Set Top Box, rather than being supplied direct by VM then it shouldn't work. Moreover since we don't allow discussion of how to obtain services without properly subscribed equipment, you won't be able to get assistance on this forum.

Re: Non VM Supplied Kit
The SV7 and all other non-authorized kit simply will not work on Virgin Media.. You need a card and numbered box connected to your account to recieve any VM cable.
Also please note that even before the new encryption system came into place we didn't allow talk of how to get 3rd party equipment to work... now I suppose that rule is a bit defunct (though still a rule) as it simply will not work. You can though use it as a fully functional doorstop if you so wish. |
