Is there a reset button on the TIVO like there is on the V+, or is it just the power off/on switch on the back?

What is the recommended action if the box freezes?

Hold the power button on the front till lights flash

There are several options.
1) Thumb down, Thumb up, Play, Play just restarts the UI
2) Home -> Help&Settings -> Clear or Reset TiVo box -> Restart the TiVo box
3) Press and hold the standby button on the front of the box
4) Use the on/off switch
