Tech Stuff

Had a VM tech visit yesterday re picture problems, just curious if this is something to be concerned about that appears in the tech stuff.

(301) No Signal

There has been a (90) CAK Callback Connection Success since.

If you don't have a fault, don't worry about it.

Ok, but the reason I asked was that the problem I had prior to the tech visit yesterday was pixelation on CH139 Challenge, and when I initially reported it the chap on CS said he could see a problem with loss of signal, and there were many of these showing on the tech stuff before the visit by the tech, I haven't noticed the pixelation issue as of yet, but was just curious why there was a no signal message showing when I am sure that the tech said that it was down to the bomb in the street not being right.

"No signal" wouldn't cause pixellation - you'd get no picture at all if you had no signal. But sometimes it is logged simply by you changing channel and is of no consequence. The CAK Callback message is a positively good thing.

The no signal message appears on the box before the box is "hit" then when it says CAK Success it means that the box has been activated on your account everything should be fine!!

You would get the error 'post re error" for freezing pics
