Tivo + TV size L?

Hi

I've just been on the phone to customer services for quite some time as I wanted to downgrade my package. I was on:

TV size XL
Broadband M
Phone XL
Sky sports + sky movies collection
Sky premium HD channels
Tivo 1TB
+1 additional set top box (an old basic silver samsung one)

Since this was costing me a fortune I asked to:

Change TV to size L
Change phone to M
Remove sky sports + sky movies collection
Remove Sky premium HD channels

All of this was done except for changing TV to size L. I was told that as I have a 1TB Tivo I have to have TV size XL.....?! I pointed out that the "build a bundle" on the website allows me to select a 1TB Tivo with TV size L, but the CS representative was adamant that she was correct.

Would anyone be able to confirm whether I'm correct or whether VM are correct? If I'm correct, would any of the kind hearted VM staff on the board be able to help sort this out for me?

Thanks in advance!

You can have Tivo on any Tv package.

VM Wanted to charge £149 for a 1tb tivo plus £49.99 activation plus £3 for tivo epg and only available on the top tv package, This failed badly so now-

a 1TB Tivo is £99 installed and activated and its available on any package lol

You should indeed be able to downgrade to TV L with TiVo if that's what you want

Re: Tivo + TV size L?

If still had VM I would keep the TV package that included ESPN. ITS £9 a month on sky.

So skys top mix is £24 plus ESPN would be £33 with no HD, VM would give All channels including HD plus ESPN. That is a good price no matter how you try to twist it.

ACTUALLY LOL i have stated all that without the VM price but I thinks its around £35.
