Picture problem Coronation Street on demand

Hi there,

I couldn't find anything about this problem anywhere, so I thought I ask you guys and girls.
When I watch Corrie on demand nearly every time there seems to be some kind of purple tint, which is especially noticeable in people's faces. It's not the whole face, just parts of it. I have only noticed this on Corrie, not on e.g. Emmerdale (please don't judge me on the choice of programs ;) ), Music on demand or Movies on demand.
Anyone else noticed this problems?

Not exactly, but the Monday 8.30 edition that I viewed yesterday started in colour turned black and white and finished in colour. Very strange. First time that this has happened to me

This is what I mean. Was watching Monday's second episode and it was quite bad.

It doesn't happen for me (though confusingly I picked an episode that started with a woman with a bruised face).

How is the TV connected to the STB? Do you have a VCR connected? And which model STB is it?

Yes, i've seen this aswell. It's very noticeable and only on Corrie when watching from on demand. I haven't noticed it on any other tv shows or any other on demand content. Very odd.

city3000, I'm a bit glad I'm not the only one with this problem.
Hey spiderplant, I've got the Samsung V+ box, it's connected with an HDMI cable and I haven't got a VCR connected. But as there is now someone else experiencing it too and it's only on Corrie, I'm quite confident it's not my equipment.

I'm in Bristol, just checked a couple of episodes on demand and they still have pink faces.

Samsung V+ too.

But as it's on Tivo too, I guess the information isn't as important. Thanks DF for checking this :)
