smallworld customer service stinks

hi just had smallworld installed today after being with sky for 20 years. already i have had to phone them four times. each time waiting over 20 minutes to get through. the engineer installed it but just left me the router and said do it yourself? then when i couldnt get it working with my mac a guy said we dont deal with macs so you better phone apple eh? the box keeps freezing 3 times now! and i wasnt informed that the multiroom was only a standard box ( i knew it wasnt hd but was told it would still have pause live tv etc and record. If i had known that before i ordered it i wouldnt have bothered. I was lied too. The customer service stinks. i want the topfield box i was promised. also how can i set the radio to record?

Re: smallworld customer service stinks

That's not good at all, Just keep ringing them until they get fed up, and when I mean keep ringing them, I mean as soon as you speak to someone and they fob you off, ring them back as soon as the call ends :D It irritates them and gets them off there backsides, that's what I did with EDF when they were sure I owed them a grand when the bill was actually £17!

But keep ringing and if you get nowhere go down the complaints procedure and if that doesn't work I would go to Ofcom or trading standards or something like that for miselling.

Not sure if he is coming back, but the owner and MD of Smallworld used to be a member. See http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/35256754-post6.html for his contact details.
