exchange connection

hi all, just trying to find out why my cable broadband in not connected to my local exchange what i mean i am connected to the cosham exchange (max 50M), which is 3.82 miles away (as the crow fly's) when the local one (Havant which is upgraded to 100M) is only 1.87miles away. Thanks

replied in the vm forum all ready, as has been said bt exchange has nuttin to do with VM cable service.
