On Demand is Off!
Does anyone out there have a similar story?: I have the Virgin XL Package. At home all day and an insomniac, I watched a lot of On Demand TV until this year, when it has scarcely ever been available as the IP address is nearly always switched off. Even when it is on, it switches off when I try to watch.
I wrote to Virgin who wanted to send an engineer, but they phoned next day offering to cancel the appointment, because if the STB was found to be OK they would charge £10. I did cancel because the box is fine, but am unsure what to do now. The service is this area is said to be good, no maintenance, and XL is supposed to be a no-limits package. Is it legal for Virgin to keep charging for a non-existent service? I'm so fed-up I have thought of changing to Sky. |

If your On Demand doesn't work you have a fault. Call them again. They won't charge you unless you are not in when the tech calls.
