It is defo coming however I believe that article is talking about TIVOs US cable operators.

The app update was for the US TiVo users. VM's TiVo iPad app is still coming at somepoint but no solid details on when.

This is sad but to be honest I'm more excited about this upcoming app than I was for the TiVo. The youtube clip of this in action is amazing.
My wife says I need to get out more. She could be right :D
