Do VM provide micro SIMs

Hi

I've got an unlocked iPhone 4 and am looking to get the SIM only £10.21 rolling 30 day package.

Do VM provide micro SIMs or will I need to cut the SIM to size?

Also if someone has done this are there any issues? Do I need to fiddle with the data settings or is it automatic?

Thanks

As virgin do not currently supply micro sim cards, if you wish to use a virgin sim in your Iphone 4, you will have to cut it to size. Having done this myself, as long as you are careful, and don't cut off too much, you should be absolutely fine. Once it's cut to size, you should be able to use the virgin sim card without changing any settings. If you have unlocked your Iphone by means of jailbreaking, then do bear in mind that, if you decide to update the software on your phone, your Iphone will reject the sim and Will revert back to it's original network settings.

If you are unsure about cutting your sim card to size, you could use a device called a turbo sim which will emulate any given sim card. Simply google Turbo sim for more info. Although these are made by a third party, they have been designed for the Iphone 4.

Hope this helps.
Thanks

madmacfan10 thanks for the confirmation a cut down SIM works OK

My iphone was bought direct from the Apple store so is not tied to any network. I bought a SIM cutting tool off eBay which works great even with SIMS that have the larger sized chip.

Ordered my VM SIM and awaiting receipt.
