I got a dish & sky+HD receiver with original viewing card, minimum subs period needed
 

As title says, I've got a sat dish on the front of the house (motorised for FTA footy) and I also have a neighbours out of subs sky+hd receiver with the original viewing card.

Would I be right in assuming I could use this to subscribe to sky for no minimum period and or without the need for a phone line seeing as we already have compatable and working sky equipment they they dont need to provide to tie us to a minimum term?
