Re: tivo recordings
I'll probably get a slap for this, but this has been discussed at great length on a number of occasions on this forum. Why not have a look around? There are potentially a number of great things coming for TiVO - multiroom, iPad apps, export, networking but we have no idea when or even if they will be a part of the VM TiVO experience. You've got almost as many posts as I have, why not use CF a little more proactively?

Re: tivo recordings
The TiVo software is capable of flagging programmes as protected on an individual basis though, so it's possible to enable the functionality while still keeping broadcasters happy.

Slightly different as this involves streaming content to the ipad but it highlights how touchy these broadcasters are over their content http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2011...redirect=false |
Re: tivo recordings
There was a post on the Tivo forums about coming updates and rough time scales, which mysteriously dissapeared. It seemed to be from an official source.
The Copy Content was listed, but it said it wouldn't happen because of copyright issues with UK broadcasters. Considering you can copy to a DVD, it does seem strange, but that function not being available, wouldn't surprise me. |
