Mixed signals on FUP
 

I've just signed up to Virgin Media and the lady on the phone told me 50meg and 100meg didn't have any FUP but I've seen threads of people being throttled on BitTorrent.

I download WoW patches via Bittorrent and I dual-boot with ubuntu so this would be a little bit of a blow if this is true.

Could someone shine some light on this for me please?

every package has a FUP, the limit is dependent on area utilisation.
every package has protocol shaping at peak hours which includes torrent traffic.
what 50mbit and 100mbit dont have is download STM.
