How to 'stop' when watching a pre recoded programme
 

Got my TiVo the other day and loving it.

I do have a query.

I was watching a recording from 'My Shows' and as I didn't have time to watch it all I pressed the 'stop' button. The TiVo went back to the 'My Shows' screen but the recording was still running in the preview window.

When I clicked 'resume' it did go back to the point when I pressed 'stop' but it's distracting that the recording keeps playing.

Is this how its supposed to work?

Press pause then stop

its a bug that hopefully will get fixed at some point

Or press the TV button on the remote.

I press TV button - hopefully they'll fix it soon

apparently Tivo never had a Stop button before, so whole new terratory for them - just how hard can it be :)
