Recording info tab
 

I'm watching a channel, press Info and the 'tabbed' box comes up with bottom tab with red R symbol on. I go to the bottom tab and I am showed what's currently recording.

There are 2 items listed one with bright red R symbol, the other is grey. The front panel of TiVo box has 1 light on.

I have suggestions turned off, is the grey recording showing me what it would have recorded of suggestions were on? If not, what is it?

It's whatever channel that tuner was last tuned to. It is buffering it, but won't become a permanent recording unless you press record.

It's just showing what is currently being buffered and you can switch to it if you want.
