Who here works as a Virgin Media Engineer?

HI.

I'm new to this Forum.

I'm after some advise. I have a all day interview to become a virgin Engineer. Now this might sound stupid, but this is my dream job, I have very Basic Knowledge with HFC and Telephony and road and street health and safety, I'm 30 years old and passed my driving test last year( I know its late) anyhow this is a job I have always wanted to do.

Can you give me any advise that would help me ect, I wanna swat up the best I can.

Well, the first thing I would ask is what type of VM Engineer do you wish to become? There seem to be a variety, Street hardware install (Fit / replace the green boxes), network tech (Work with the UBRs and core network), groundwork engineer (Lay the cable from the street cab to the house), Installs Tech (Fit the hardware in the house) etc.

Realistically I would assume it's the install tech over the others but could do with a little more information.

Hi. Sorry.

Should of made it a bit more clear. The Job role is installing the box/Phone/Broadband into customers homes. Any advise and help would be much apreciated.
