Can anyone in the Grimsby & Scunthorpe area tell me if ''Channel 7 Television'' is still broadcasting on Virgin Channel 879 in your area?

I'm not in Grimsby, but yes it is still on.

I'm in Grimsby and can confirm it's still broadcasting on 879.

Actually, I'd completely forgotten about this channel, so thanks for reminding me about it. I know they work pretty closely with Grimsby College here.

We've a planned outage coming up for this channel.

Channel 7 will be off air between the hours of 7am and 8am on Friday 20th May 2011.

This is the remnant of Cable 7, a service funded by Diamond Cable, and used to run throughout the East Midlands.
