Whats the different with the following.

Forward Path Attenuator.

Forward Path Equalizer.

That's wrong.

Equalisers attenuate the low frequencys. Cable simulators attenuate the high. Forward path Attenuators attenuate all downstream frequencies.

Fat or sideband attenuators attenuate the upstream and downstream
