Sky dropped the recording charge for + a long time ago. You do pay £10 for HD though unless they have messed up your account which is not unheard of. What do you pay and what do you get?

if you can record I think you are ... Bonus :) Ive had something free from Sky for 12 years due to some kind of accoutn error and they aint cottoned on and its quite valuable but I aint saying what lol.

yes they dropped the 10 charge if you are a subscriber. As you are not a subscriber you can use your equipment for freesat but they do charge to record. You have got something for nothing

Just connect a dvd recorder to your sky box. I've tried sky+ and it's not a very good interface.

If you can get Free skyHD box then why buy old style dvd recorder. just call sky sales and get new hdbox with 1 warantee man.
