International speed result.
I know i'm going to get told to do speedtests closer to home for more accurate results, but there will always be websites outside of the u.k. or even europe that are visited...

Re: International speed result.
they are low, but as has been discussed the links between UK and america aren't great to say the least
it also doesnt help that you are testing at peak times, but remember peak times in america are different to those here ;) |
Re: International speed result.
Peak times doesnt seem to make any difference to me, I think because im in a rural area there's only 30 other houses apart from mine

Re: International speed result.
Speed tests can be very odd.
Recommended server for me is Maidenhead -> very poor results. London -> great results Ashford -> used to be great, less good now Paris -> can be very good Budapest -> used to give super results Things really can vary widely between runs on the same servers. Maybe folk play around, get great results from a server, tell all their friends and then overload that server with tests. I tend to stick with London or Newbury as I know the sort of figure I'm going to get. If it's really off on those I can try others and this can indicate there may be an issue and possibly where it is. |
