Search TV Guide Doesn't Work
 

is this working properly for anyone? Here's an example, Enter "Cycling", which is clearly on Eurosport this coming week. No Results Found comes back. So, what is the point of a search facility which doesn't work?

I'm sure that it used to return appropriate results.

How exactly are you searching? There are numerous ways. And which programmes exactly isn't it finding?

I've just tried Search for "CYC", which finds plenty, as does Browse->Sports->Cycling.

Hi, since the Search can't be accessed directly from the TV Guide, I go to Catch Up TV or Movies, then Search, type "CYC", scroll along to TV Guide there are "No results to display". Where is the Browse facility, I certainly can't find it?

Latest on this from Virgin is "This issue has been identified as a software bug which will be fixed with a future update. We are unable to say when that will be at this time I'm sorry."

Wrong, it used to work, it was only recently that it stopped working

It's NEVER worked - unless you count sitting there for 15 minutes (literally) whilst it found something

It maybe only recently that they have totally given up on it and removed it all together because it had NEVER worked

but it has NEVER EVER worked

I think you are describing the 'Search by category' search on V+ which has always been painfullly slow to use. The other search in on demand worked very well and it would search through the metadata to bring you results within seconds.

You are definately getting mixed up with "Search by category" ;)
