M1 fire started deliberately

Quote:

A fire which caused a section of the M1 to be closed for several days appears to have been started deliberately, the London Fire Brigade (LFB) has said.

So it appears terrorists don't need bombs to cause havoc, just light a few fires under some strategic road/railway arches, bridges, etc. etc...

yup ... the more developed we become the more vulnerable we are to single events having a high impact. our transport infrastructure is definitely one of our vulnerabilities. i remember the fuel protests of 2000. very effective.

The government have ordered an immediate audit of all bridges with businesses under them ,now forgive me if this sounds a bit obvious but allowing a business that by it's nature has a high risk of fire is not best suited under a bridge and you would think that someone would have cottoned on before
