Re: Brown for the IMF???
Not going to happen, the IMF is in favour of coalition debt reduction policies, both pace and scope, while Brown is opposed to them. Brown, Balls and Milliband spent years ignoring IMF warnings about running deficits in booms as they were operating on the delusion that there would be no bust. Brown considered an asset bubble to be long term wealth creation (the only scary thing here is the effort the current government is putting into keeping said bubble inflated).
Brown himself said that it was time for the head of the IMF to come from somewhere other than Europe, Asia I believe was his suggestion, I agree. |

on a serious note i would like to see Brown make an appearance to the British public and explain why he thinks we are all in this mess before he even contemplates taking a job of such importance .Now i accept that some of the circumstances where out of the governments control ,but it still remains the governments duty to make the rules so they stay in control of the banks, the economy and everything else that contributed to the financial mess we are in |
Re: Brown for the IMF?
Thought so. ;)
Yes, before the muck hit the fan he was denying anything was wrong and that we should all vote for more of his wisdom and prudence. Afterwards, he was out there telling us we should vote for him again as he'd made mistakes and was therefore the best placed person to put all the wrongs right. Nice logic that. In Brown's fantasy world nobody would ever get fired...... On a personal note, sometimes I feel I'd quite like to see Brown appearing on a gibbet but I'm taking tablets for that...... :D |
